Responsible Care is much more than a buzzword at Bayer
Talking about “responsibility” as part of corporate philosophy is not enough. Bayer is
actively committed to the chemical industry’s worldwide Responsible Care initiative.
That means making sure that all employees actively embrace responsibility for meeting
environmental protection and safety goals in their daily work. Bayer is committed to conserving
natural resources, operating its facilities safely and minimizing the environmental impact of its
activities. Success in the areas of environmental protection and safety is only possible if all
employees apply their skills and expertise innovatively and responsibly. Bayer provides appropriate
training in these areas because every individual employee is expected to set an example by his or
her behavior.
Bayer is committed to Responsible Care. That means
