Bayer expects each and every employee to have pride in their job and work as a professional.
Bayer has designed performance management systems to support this. We assess each
individual employees achievement fairly, reflect it in working conditions (salary and bonus, etc),
and help them to improve business performance and capabilities further.
At the start of the year, each employee discusses with his or her supervisor in regard to
what results to achieve and targets to set. After that, an interim interview is conducted
during the term and an assessment is carried out at the end, which completes the annual performance
management cycle. After this assessment result is fed back in order to improve performance
and develop capabilities.
