1-Day Seminars

Management including the Chairman and President participate at various times such as opening ceremonies, round-table meetings, closing ceremonies, all sorts of presentations and proposal presentation meetings in almost all programs in Bayer training and listen seriously to the opinions of training participants so there are many opportunities for open dialogue.

The 1-Day Seminar for Newly-Appointed Managers is a good example.  This training is conducted as an orientation to the Bayer Group overall in Japan and is a required program aimed at newly-appointed managerial employees.  The seminars share the current state of business within the Bayer Group overall as well as future strategies and perspectives.  In addition, participants also deepen their knowledge in various areas required of management-class employees, such as compliance.

Top management serve as the teachers responsible for the seminars, including the representative of the Bayer Group in Japan and the Presidents of various group companies.  Management talks openly about its own experiences when they were newly-appointed, converses directly with each participant through roundtable meetings, responds politely to participants’ questions, and gives advice empathetically even on subjects that go beyond business and into private issues.  The seminars are yet another source of pride for Bayer, which works seriously on the cultivation of each and every employee.
