Employees can build up their assets with certainty for ordinary saving, housing, pension
under employees’ savings scheme. The money for saving deducted straight from their
salaries. The income form interest is not taxed in the case of purchasing a house or
receiving pension. The employee can deposit money straight from their salary and withdraw it
just when they need it using the internet or telephone.
Bayer contracts with life insurance and non-life insurance companies which offer a higher
rate of interest than general rates to the employees who can build a fund of a personal pension by
automatic saving from their monthly salaries.
If an employee participates in this association, he or she can purchase Bayer stock at a
fixed amount each month, which is deducted by automatic saving from salaries. The company
pays an 8% subsidy for purchases up to 50,000 yen per month. For example, if an employee
purchases 20,000 yen of shares each month, there will be a subsidy from the company of 1,600 yen.
Bayer contracts with a few life insurance companies which offer a lower premium to
the employees who can purchase the life insurance. The premium can be paid automatically from
their monthly salaries.
